Launching a career in South Carolina real estate is a rewarding journey. To obtain your South Carolina Real Estate License, you must meet a few key requirements.
1. Start by ensuring you are at least 18 years old
2. You must have graduated high school or hold certificate of equivalency recognized by the United States Department of Education.
Next, complete the 60-hour pre-licensing course, known as Unit I-Real Estate Principles, which you can take conveniently virtually or in-person with one of our instructors through our accredited real estate school. We offer flexible scheduling, including weekday, weeknight, weekend, and half-day classes to suit your needs. We also offer self-paced classes online without an instructor.
After UNIT I course completion, you will take the 30-hour Unit II-Advanced Real Estate Principles course.
To finalize your licensing journey, you will submit your application to the South Carolina Real Estate Commission. Once approved, prepare for and pass the SC Real Estate License Exam, leveraging everything you learned in class, study your books and your study guides.
With our support, you'll be on your way to becoming a licensed South Carolina real estate professional.
Congratulations on taking the first steps toward a successful career in real estate!
